Strictly’s Nadiya Bychkova ‘dating West End actor’ after Kai Widdrington split

Strictly Come Dancing beauty Nadiya Bychkova has reportedly grown close to a West End star following her split from fellow Strictly star Kai Widdrington last year

Nadiya Bychkova has reportedly found a new flame after her split from Kai Widdrington.

The stunning Strictly pro was in a relationship with co-star Kai until they reportedly split in the summer of 2024. However, it’s believed Nadiya has now moved on with West End actor Ian McIntosh.

The pair are said to have met back in March of this year and have been spotted on a date in London. The duo were seen laughing together and getting cosy in a coffee shop, with Nadiya holding Ian’s face in her hand.

Ian is currently playing Jean Valjean in Les Misérables on the West End. She is currently following him on Instagram, but he does not follow anyone on his official account.

A source told The Sun: “Nadiya and Ian have a couple of mutual friends and were introduced — they hit it off immediately. They have attended a couple of red carpet events together and thought people might start noticing their relationship sooner.

“They have loads in common and just have a lot of fun together — it is lovely to see. Everyone is very happy for them.”

Earlier this week, the pair were snapped together at Les Misérables’ 40th anniversary party. Ian posted a pic of him with Nadiya and singer Michael Ball on his Instagram.

He wrote: “40th Anniversary party with @nadiyabychkova and @mrmichaelball What a glorious night [heart emoji]”. Ian was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

Kai has gone Instagram official with his new girlfriend Chloe Wells. The pair are said to have met on a night out at a west London pub.

Speaking about her split from Kai on Loose Women, Nadiya said: “I don’t think any break-up is easy. But we’re professionals, so we obviously knew that we would have to go back to work together, and that’s what we do.”

It’s been reported that Nadiya and Kai grew apart due to the pressures of touring. Mum-of-one Nadiya previously revealed she had been in a “really good place” after the split.

“Look at me – being single is beautiful,” she told Daily Mail’s Eden Confidential. “I’m in a really good place and I’m really happy.”
