Emily Robertson, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s communications director left her role some weeks ago, according to a report. Emily resigned after just three months on the job.

Meghan Markle has lost her 10th publicist in five years with her latest hire resigning after just three months. Emily Robinson, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s communications director left her role some weeks ago, according to the Daily Mail.

A friend of Robinson said she decided to part ways with Harry and Meghan. “It was her decision. She left a few weeks ago. She’s not a quitter, so things must have been pretty horrible for her to go,” the source said.

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said: “Miss Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan and additional support for the production company.

“She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success.” Robinson was previously a senior publicity director at Netflix, where she worked on The Crown for years.

Robinson’s LinkedIn account does not mention her work for Harry and Meghan. Instead, she has promoted what appears to be her own business.

Her predecessor, Deesha Tank, left in June. Others to leave were Archwell’s former operations head Lianne Cashin and communications head Christine Weil Schirmer.

Harry and Meghan’s LA-based press secretary Kyle Boulia, and European communications director Charlie Gipson have also exited their positions. Earlier this month Meghan was slammed after she posted a video of her putting her feet up as she drove past where Princess Diana died.

It comes as Prince Harry continues to slowly patch up his estranged relationship with the Royal Family. The Duchess of Sussex had been in Paris as a result of Paris Fashion Week.

As she soaked up the fashion and culture, she decided to take some time to relax, kicking off her shoes and laying down in the car she was being driven in. Little did she know she was passing the Place de l’Alma, where Harry’s darling mum Diana was tragically killed in a car crash in August 1997 at the age of 36.

Since the video emerged, Meghan has been blasted as being “thoughtless” of where she is and the significance of the incident. Taking to her social media after a long day, Meghan was seen filming herself from her point of view, as she put up her feet in the limousine she was being driven in.

She also filmed outside, showing that she was driving around the River Seine, close to the Pont Alexandre III and the Pont des Invalides, according to the Daily Mail.
