Emmerdale’s Kev could be set to get killed off soon and fans ‘know’ who murders him

Emmerdale fans have ‘worked out’ who will kill off Kev Townsend and it’s not Aaron Dingle.

Newcomer Kev (Chris Coghill) made his debut on the ITV soap this year, when he moved to the Dales following a long-term prison sentence for bank robbery.

It eventually came out that while locked up, Kev married Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley). At the time, Robert had no idea that Kev would ever be released, so he struck up a romance with him to survive behind bars.

However, with Kev’s newfound freedom, he hopes that he and Robert will now live in wedded bliss in the village, much to Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) heartbreak.

Aaron and Kev have since clashed plenty of times, but this week though, things took a sinister turn when Kev showed his dark side, warning Aaron that he would kill him if he got involved in his romance with Robert.

And in Tuesday’s episode (October 28), Aaron told Robert about Kev’s threats, leaving him troubled. Later on, Robert questioned Kev and things got heated again, only for Aaron to arrive. However, Kev managed to keep his cool, much to the relief of Robert.

And now, with Kev making plenty of enemies, as well as showing his true colours, fans can’t help but think he will be murdered. But in what would be a big twist on the ITV soap, they don’t think the killer will be Aaron.

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person wrote: “Really can’t stand Robert’s husband!” Someone else chimed in and predicted Aaron’s mum Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) could kill him.

They wrote: “Get Chas to kill him.” A third chimed in: “That’d be unexpected!”” Another also wrote: “Aaron would be too obvious.” A fifth mused: “If Kev does something bad to Aaron I can see Chas going after him.”

Meanwhile earlier this month, Kev actor Chris spoke about the character and said: “It’s very complicated because Kev is unhinged. But there is some genuine feelings there, but they’re not quite what they should be.

Ryan added: “It’s unclear at this stage as well, what his feelings are. There’s this guy that turns up and says he’s his husband, but Robert is trying to actively pursue Aaron…. An absolute bombshell”.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
