While Sir Cliff Richard is known for many things, his love of a good old curry might not be at the forefront – but it turns out the Living Doll singer is partial to an Indian takeaway

Sir Cliff Richard has revealed he craves a curry wherever he is performing around the globe. The Living Doll legend, 85, is currently Down Under for his Can’t Stop Me Now tour.

And he revealed his love of Indian grub while in Perth, Australia. The curry-loving crooner wrote on Facebook: “Wherever I am in the world, I always seek advice as to where to get a decent Indian meal.” The singer, who has flogged over 250 million records in his glittering career, is performing gigs in Oz and New Zealand over the coming weeks.

Summer Holiday star Sir Cliff also posted an online snap of himself with The Shadows icon Hank Marvin, 84. The pair were rehearsing with Hank set to make a guest appearance at Cliff’s gig today (Sat).

It comes after Cliff recently admitted his current tour may be his last.

He said: “I might be dead next year. So I don’t even think about it anymore. It’s one of those things.

“As I get older, maybe I’ll become less able to perform, so I can’t say.”

The hit-maker added: “The thing I would have to give up, probably, at some point is touring.

“It’s very wearing, and you never know when you wake up in the morning whether your voice is still there.”
