The Friends star who played Rachel Green in the iconic sitcom has finally made her relationship with Jim Curtis Instagram official. The 56-year-old actress likes to keep her personal life private but she’s now posted pics of her and her hunky new man online.
In a black-and-white snap, she is seen hugging into the 50-year-old hypnotherapist and transformational coach from behind as he also grabbed her hands. The pair are beaming in the adorable snap.
She captioned her post: “Happy birthday my love. Cherished.” She posted a red love heart emoji before Jim replied to the post to simply share an emoji face blowing a kiss of a love heart.
Jennifer’s friends and fans went wild and rushed to the comments to share their joy at her new reltionship. Among them was Jennifer’s co-star on 90’s flick She’s The One, Leslie Man, who posted a red love heart emoji.
Jen’s good friend Amy Schumer also wrote: “Beautiful couple. Healing kind angels.” Within hours of the post going live, hundreds of thousands of Jen’s followers had liked the post too.
One fan wrote: “Couldn’t be happier for you two. My heart is exploding.” Another commented: “This post just made my whole week and it’s not even Monday yet.”
The duo were first romantically linked in July this year, according to reports, when the pair were photographed on a yacht in Mallorca. However, months earlier fans had speculated over a potential match.
This is because Jim commented flirtatiously under an Instagram post by Jennifer. In the spring, the actress shared a workout video with Jim responding with a love heart and muscle emoji.
Sources previously told People that the pair had met through mutual friends. Jen is thought to have been following the coach on social media for almost two years. “They’ve been seeing each other for a few months now,” an insider told the publication in July.
“They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work. She’s really into self-help and wellness. They are dating, but it’s still casual.”
The reveal comes years after the Friends icon’s last public relationship. She hasn’t publicly dated anyone since her 2018 divorce from Justin Theroux.
Years earlier, another highly public relationship of hers also broke down. In 2005, her marriage to Brad Pitt came to an end, with Brad moving on with his Mr and Mrs Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie.
Jennifer recently opened up about her love life and her desire to keep it on the down low. She told Closer magazine: “A good place to be is to be open to [love], but not seeking it.
“That way you don’t put any pressure on the situation, and if it happens organically, then amazing.”
She added she wanted to keep her romantic life away from the spotlight as much as she can, continuing: “No matter how long I have been in the industry, I will never get used to people thinking they have any sort of right to know about your personal life.”
