Married At First Sight groom Divarni took a brutal swipe at his ex-wife in an unexpected collaboration with another reality star.

Married at First Sight groom Divarni has taken a cheeky swipe at his ex-wife Julia-Ruth in an unexpected cameo outside of the E4 programme.

The 30-year-old reality personality wed controversial bride Julia-Ruth at the start of the experiment, but things rapidly deteriorated. Whilst Divarni was utterly besotted with his partner, his wife soon admitted she wasn’t physically drawn to him.

Matters became even more strained when Julia-Ruth insisted they hadn’t been intimate, despite the former pair having slept together in private. When their fellow participants and relationship experts uncovered the reality, they supported Divarni and encouraged him to question the entire marriage.

The duo ultimately split after Julia-Ruth revealed the shocking news that she fancied Steven, Nelly’s spouse. Now, the ex-MAFS groom has shared a playful jab at his former wife, with help from another reality television personality.

Posting on TikTok on Sunday, Stranded on Honeymoon Island star Mae Hunter shared a video with Divarni, criticising their previous TV partners, reports OK!.

Mae, experienced a similar situation on the BBC programme when her partner Moray couldn’t find a romantic connection, despite the duo becoming intimate in private.

The clip included a tongue-in-cheek caption reading: “Well if they’re sleeping with us. They must like us?”

Followed by the statement: “Their partners did, in fact, not like them.”

Reality TV enthusiasts were absolutely delighted by the surprise partnership, with one gushing: “This is my favourite thing I’ve seen all year.”

Another fan exclaimed: “AWWWW DIVARNI YOU WERE BRILLIANT ON MAFS SON SENDING LOVE FROM GLASGOW.”

A third viewer declared: “The collaboration I never knew we needed! I’m here for it though!”

Meanwhile, another observer noted: “It’s baffling how someone could sleep with someone they don’t like. I could never,” prompting Mae to respond: “Legit right.”

Julia-Ruth appeared to swiftly notice her former partner’s subtle jab, as she too posted a TikTok clip, mouthing along to Ariana Grande’s chart-topper ‘Break Free’.

Wearing a mischievous grin, the bride repeatedly raised her middle finger in defiance.

The video was posted on Monday, complete with overlaid text declaring: “When your ex can’t stop talking about you, cute.”

Supporters have surprisingly rallied around the star in her comments, despite Julia-Ruth facing criticism throughout her E4 appearance.

The South African-born participant has previously opened up about her “challenging and chaotic” experience on the show.

Taking to Instagram, she reflected: “This process was tough, trying, challenging and chaotic but it has taught be a lot.”

She added: “I’m not the same person I was 6 months ago here on screen when this was filmed and am continuously aiming to do better.”

Married at First Sight UK continues on E4 tonight at 9pm
