Congressman Suhas Subramanyam alleged that ‘brave survivors of Epstein’ had given testimony about the ex-Duke of York and he’s sent a letter to get him to testify

Paedophile tycoon Jeffrey Epstein may have allegedly trafficked more women to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor than just Virginia Giuffre, a US politician claimed.

Congressman Suhas Subramanyam alleged that “brave survivors of Epstein” had given testimony about the ex-Duke of York and “other powerful men”.

He sent a letter to Andrew last week, signed by himself and 15 other Democratic members of the committee, asking for Andrew to testify under oath about what he knew about the alleged sex-trafficking ring.

The politician, who is involved in a probe into the Epstein Files, told the Mail on Sunday: “We have reason to believe that there are others who may have been trafficked to Andrew. Many of the survivors came to Capitol Hill and we spoke to them.

“They’ve been so courageous and gave us very valuable information as far as where to look.”

Giuffre, who killed herself in April aged 41, claimed that she was trafficked to Andrew for sex when she was 17. The former prince, 65, has always denied her claims.

He settled a civil case brought by the American for a reported £12million, with no admission of wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, Mr Subramanyam said Congress plans to invite the royal’s former royal protection officers to be quizzed about what they saw. And he wants to grill Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who could also be called to testify under oath.

Asked what he would say to Andrew, he said: “If he has nothing to hide and did nothing wrong, as he alleges, then he should have no problem coming before us and telling his side. Even if he doesn’t come and tell us what he knows we will find the documents.

“We will get to the bottom of this.”

Epstein’s estate is fully cooperating with the inquiry and last week handed over 17,000 documents linked to his financial records.

Andrew was contacted for comment.
