A frantic police search is underway for two teenage girls who have been missing for several days. Sofia and Carly, both 14, were last spotted at Manchester Fort Retail Park in the Cheetham Hill area around 3pm on 6 November.

Greater Manchester Police expressed growing concern for the welfare of the pair, who have connections to Bury. The force stated that investigators are keen to ensure they are found safe and sound.

Efforts to locate them are ongoing, and anyone with information is being strongly encouraged to get in touch with the police straight away.

Sofia is described as slim, about 5ft 5ins tall, with long black hair and tanned skin. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a black jumper and black coat, according to GMP.

Her mate, Carla, is described as a black female of medium build, also approximately 5ft 5ins tall. She has black hair extensions which are braided and tied up in a bun, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Police said she was last seen wearing a green top, white shirt, green and white tie, grey skirt and black trainers.

Anyone with any information about their whereabouts is being urged to ring the police on 0161 856 2476.
