One pensioner politician was caught looking at sexually explicit images aboard a passenger flight. He was pictured while looking at the NSFW photos on his tablet – and they have now gone viral

A US politician was caught looking at a string of sexually explicit photos while on a flight as the stunned passenger next to him got an eyeful.

Democrat congressman Brad Sherman, 71, was pictured as he ogled at the NSFW snaps of women on his tablet. The sordid images of the Californian representative are now circulating on social media after they were first shared on X.

The user who first shared the photos of Sherman and his questionable inflight activities wrote: “Why did California Congressman Brad Sherman feel it was appropriate to look at porn on his iPad during a flight today?

“His district deserves better representation than this!!”

In the now viral post seen by millions, a wide-mouthed Sherman was pictured three times as he gazed at the screen that featured scantily-clad women. The photos also showed the ladies in some comprising positions of their own.

Even Donald Trump’s inner circle have caught wind of the photos of Sherman. White House communications director Steven Cheung re-posted a snap of Sherman’s open mouth and said: “Bruh. What a total gooner.”

We’re assuming he doesn’t mean an Arsenal fan…

Sherman, who represents California’s 32nd congressional district, admitted to looking at the images while on his flight in an interview just hours later.

However, he urged that he was just scrolling on his tablet – and had not been actively seeking such content.

“If I see a picture of a woman, might I look at it longer than a sunset? Yeah,” he told Punchbowl News. To add to his defence, the politician said that he was on X’s ‘For you’ page when he was snapped during his flight.

He added that he “must’ve looked at more than 1000 posts” and that these photographs popped on his feed all “because of the algorithms.”

Sherman further told the publication: “Is it pornography? I don’t think Elon Musk thinks so.”

Apart from passing the buck to algorithms, the congressman noted that it was not “appropriate” to be looking at the photos of the women while on a passenger flight.

Although he admitted that it was not appropriate to be looking at these kinds of images on a flight, Sherman responded to the criticism by calling for the Trump administration to “release the Epstein Files.”

According to X, the ‘For you’ page will prioritise posts that are supposed to be ‘based on recommendations of accounts you follow or topics you’re interested.’

Despite Sherman providing his reasoning behind his flight faux pas, social media users on X were not best pleased at the images of the US politician.

One X user wrote: “With the screen brightness ALL the way up. Not an ounce of shame.” Another recommended: “Get a privacy screen.”
