Mulberry will this week be hoping for signs that a ‘cool Britannia’ turnaround plan is paying off.
The luxury brand, which will deliver results for the six months to the end of September on Wednesday, has endured falling sales.
Boss Andrea Baldo has been refocusing on its home market, including concessions in John Lewis and Selfridges stores.Â
It also aims to open shops in Liverpool and Birmingham.

The group has already shut 12 shops in Asia this year – an attempt to rely less on China.Â
Since Baldo took on the job in September 2024, shares have dropped 21 per cent, posting a loss of £23.7m for the year to March 29.
