One Married At First Sight UK 2025 star, who was part of one of the show’s most beloved couples, has taken to social media to inform fans that their husband “fumbled” after a sudden break-up statement
A beloved Married At First Sight couple have split just days after fans watched their loved-up reunion episode.
Father-of-one Bailey was completely smitten with Rebecca during their time on the show, but the Channel 4 star announced that their romance has come to an end.
Rebecca took to Instagram to share a stunning selfie with a caption that read: “To answer all the questions…yes, he fumbled,” as fans in the comments offered support. MAFS co-star Leisha wrote: “He certainly did,” while Grace added: “Couldn’t handle the HEAT [flame emoji].”
However, Bailey officially broke the news himself in an emotional post on social media and denied any infidelity. He wrote: “Unfortunately it’s time to share that Bec and I are no longer together. We tried our best to navigate life after the experiment, and although we spent a lot of great time together on the outside, unfortunately the relationship came to an end,” reports the Mirror.
“I still have a lot of love for Bec and I’m grateful for the amazing relationship we shared.I had fallen for Bec completely and it really was a true love story. I won’t lie, watching us fall in love all over again on screen has been ridiculously hard to go through and it’s something I’m still struggling with now but I wouldn’t have changed any of it!”
Bailey went on to shoot down “false allegations” about the reason for their split which have been circulating online. He put the record straight by writing: “Sadly I also have to address the various different false online allegations constantly being spread about me since the start of MAFS, which have been hard to deal with.”
“I want to make it very clear, I never cheated on Bec at any point. I didn’t handle our break up well and for that I’m truly sorry to Bec, but I was completely loyal the whole way through our relationship. I’m not perfect, I don’t claim to be and I take responsibility for my part in why the relationship didn’t work.”
He ended his statement by declaring: “Making the decision to end things was heartbreaking and not a decision that I took lightly. I’m still heartbroken, but I wish Bec all the best and I always will.”
