Emmerdale viewers think they know how Celia’s reign of terror will end after spotting a ‘clue’

Emmerdale fans are certain Celia Daniels is set to be taken down by a familiar face as her evil antics continue.

During Monday’s trip to the Dales (November 17), April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) called her granddad Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) after she was arrested for being in possession of drugs.

The teenager had been staying in Newcastle doing a drugs job for Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and her son, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).

April’s latest criminal task comes after she was sent to a house where a man called Callum tried to rape her. To defend herself, April hit Callum with a bottle and believed she had killed him in that moment.

April informed Celia and Ray immediately after, who dealt with the matter to ensure she didn’t get into trouble. It was then revealed that Callum is actually alive.

After being held at a police station, she called Bob and asked him to act as her appropriate adult because she knew that there’d be a greater risk of her involvement in Celia’s operation getting exposed if Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) went to the station instead.

The officer in charge suggested that April was found with drugs because she is working for someone. Although the officer knew the truth, April wasn’t going to confirm this in hope of being let off the hook.

When April returned to the village, she was immediately apprehended by Celia and Ray. The pair quizzed April about her arrest, as she reassured them that she hadn’t told the police anything.

After April left the conversation, Celia appeared annoyed by the teenager’s arrest as Ray stuck up for April, saying, “She’s just finding her feet.”

Celia then warned that if April made more mistakes, “the little tramp will wish she had never been born”, but her words appeared to rattle Ray, who walked away from his mum with an irritated expression.

Following Ray’s actions, some Emmerdale fans are convinced Ray will turn on his own mum to save April.

Taking to X, one person wrote: “I wonder if Ray will end up killing Celia to protect April?”.

A second chimed in: “Ooh! That would be nice. I like Ray- that could be his redemption arc before Ray goes to prison. And how poetic… Ray was saved by April’s mum and she died. So Ray saving April by Celia will be sort of Ray repaying the debt.”

A third added: “#emmerdale Ray is going to double-cross Celia isn’t he.”

“That looks and sigh from Ray suggest he’s had enough of Celia sheer nastiness towards April #emmerdale”, added one viewer.

While one fan predicted: “Judging by that look I wonder if Ray will end up being the one to save April in the end? #Emmerdale.”

Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX
