Though the precise length of the striker’s absence is still to be determined, fresh reports claim he will be out of action for around a month.
“[Sesko’s form] is not the biggest concern now. I’m concerned with an injury, because it is in the knee, and I don’t know.
“We need Ben [Sesko] to be a better team. We have to check. He has something in his knee. Let’s see.”
With the Red Devils not in Europe this season and already out of the Carabao Cup, it means the best-case scenario is that Sesko will not miss too many matches.

The home game against Bournemouth on December 15 may be too early for a return as the trip to Aston Villa six days later or the Boxing Day showdown with Newcastle could be viewed as more realistic provided his recovery goes to plan.
In a boost for United, Sesko should be back to full fitness by the time Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo are expected to depart for Africa Cup of Nations duty with Cameroon and Ivory Coast respectively.

Amorim has already spoken of the disruption that losing two of his in-form forwards will have on his side during a busy period of the campaign.
“When I watch the training, there are players that should be playing, but it’s hard with one game to take some players from the team, because they are doing well also during the training in games.
“So other players are going to have the opportunity to help us.
“They are understanding the way we want to play, so if we are improving on that, the change of characteristics is not going to change the idea or the momentum of the team.
“But let’s use Amad and Bryan in these games and we will see in general.”
