One I’m A Celebrity star made a candid confession to their fellow campmate on Friday

I’m A Celebrity star Aitch has revealed a “soft spot” for his co-star in a jungle romance twist.

The popular ITV show made its return to screens last weekend, featuring ten fresh celebrities braving their phobias in the Australian wilderness.

The line-up features Ruby Wax, Martin Kemp, Kelly Brook, Aitch, Alex Scott, Angry Ginge, Shona McGarty, Jack Osbourne and Lisa Riley.

The group have adapted to jungle living quite peacefully thus far, but latecomers Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson appear to have stirred things up after being appointed Chief Explorers on Thursday (November 20).

The pair were granted exclusive perks, including a luxurious Treehouse for accommodation, complete with comfortable beds, seating and a tannoy system. Vogue and Tom were also tasked with delegating duties to their fellow jungle dwellers, reports the Express.

However, the power shift didn’t sit well with certain celebrities, as Jack confessed to experiencing “resistance” towards the new arrivals. And it appears this might not be the sole change in camp dynamics, as a romantic connection could be brewing.

During Friday’s (November 21) episode, the campmates were on their finest form as they attempted to earn badges from Vogue and Tom.

Kelly informed Vogue that she’d opted to skip her morning jungle shower so she could tend to the rice, having been designated camp cook.

Meanwhile, the remaining contestants kept busy by tidying and beautifying the camp to be in contention for a prized badge that day, with Aitch gathering firewood, whilst Shona and Jack tackled toilet duties with good humour.

Ginge and Aitch then chose to spend some time down by the creek, with Aitch seizing the peaceful moment to share an unexpected revelation with his friend.

“I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me,” he confessed.

Ginge responded: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean yeah.”

Aitch confirmed: “Yeah, that’s what I mean,” with Ginge nodding in agreement: “Yeah she is.”

Could romance be on the cards between Aitch and recently single Shona? Only time will tell.

Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Jack and Alex tackled the latest Bushtucker trial, Dreaded Dunnies. Head Explorers Vogue and Tom were also granted the authority to select two additional celebrities to participate in the challenge. They eventually chose Martin and Shona as neither had faced a trial before.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airs at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
