I’m A Celebrity’s Tom Read Wilson has left viewers convinced they’ve caught him out after a moment that supposedly “exposed” his authentic voice.
The Celebs Go Dating personality made his entrance alongside Vogue Williams as a late arrival to camp, instantly capturing attention with his elaborate speaking style.
His delivery was so polished that it left both fellow campmates and audiences at home questioning whether it was genuine.
During last night’s (November 22) episode of the ITV programme, Ruby Wax kicked off the morning with camp songs around the fire.
Aitch couldn’t resist commenting on Tom’s distinctive manner of speaking, telling him: “Everything you say sounds so expensive”
Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley joined the discussion as they encouraged Tom to repeat various phrases, reports the Express. Aitch mimicked Tom’s refined tones, prompting a surprised Tom to exclaim: “It even fooled me and I was speaking!”
The rapper then challenged Tom to deliver ‘pepperoni pizza, jalapeños and two curry sauce’ using his Manchester accent.
Tom obliged with an impression of Aitch’s regional dialect, lowering his voice to create a remarkably accurate impersonation that had the entire camp in hysterics and sent Aitch racing around in fits of laughter.
Viewers were quick to share their thoughts online, with many claiming that Tom’s impression revealed his genuine voice. One viewer posted on X, previously known as Twitter: “Finally, we hear Tom’s real voice! #ImACeleb.”
Another chimed in: “Tom’s real voice exposed #ImACeleb.” A third remarked: “Tom doing an impression of Aitch is definitely his real voice #ImACeleb.”

Meanwhile, another fan speculated: “I feel like Tom ACTUALLY speaks like that and this posh voice is all for show.”
Later in the programme, Tom participated in the Bushtucker trial alongside Alex Scott, Shona McGarty, and Vogue Williams.
Vogue and Tom were required to lie down in two separate tents, each containing six stars secured by padlocks. Meanwhile, Alex and Shona had the unenviable task of searching for the keys to unlock the padlocks in a pool filled with offal and fish guts.
Following the nail-biting challenge, they successfully secured all twelve stars, much to their delight as they returned to share the news with their fellow celebrities.
