We’ve grown up understanding that it’s Louis to inherit, and Louis will do an incredible job.” Louis has never spoken openly on the subject, but he was dubbed the ‘reluctant poster boy of male primogeniture’ by the Telegraph that same year. However he feels about it, inheriting a Grade I-listed Georgian house and land estimated to be worth more than £100 million, complete with 90 rooms and an extensive collection of prized art and furniture, is unlikely to help with his efforts to stay out of the public eye.
