Nigel Farage is facing accusations his party falsified election expenses when fighting his parliamentary seat in Clacton.
It is the latest in a string of accusations made against Mr Farage and his party.

The claims were made by Richard Everett – a former Reform UK councillor who worked on the campaign.
He submitted documents to the Metropolitan Police allegedly showing the party spent more than the £20,660 limit fighting the Essex constituency and failed to include some expenses, including the refurbishment of a Reform-themed pub in the campaign office and the loan of an armoured Land Rover.
In a statement, Essex Police said: “We are assessing a report relating to alleged misreported expenditure by a political party in connection with the 2024 general election, following a referral to us by the Met Police.”
Reform has strongly denied breaking the law on election spending and has accused Mr Everett of being a “disgruntled former councillor” who was expelled from the party “several months ago”.
But both Labour and the Conservatives said Mr Farage had questions to answer over the allegations.
Dulwich College accusations

Multiple former classmates of Mr Farage have claimed he used racist and antisemitic language toward Black, Asian and Jewish students during his time as a pupil at Dulwich College.
More than two dozen of Mr Farage’s contemporaries have now come forward to say they witnessed the Reform UK leader engage in racist or offensive behaviour as a teenager at the exclusive south London private school.
They include allegations he aimed slurs, chants and antisemitic songs at ethnic minority students.
Mr Farage and Reform UK have strongly denied the claims, describing them as politically motivated.
Mr Farage told reporters that he had never been racist or antisemitic with “malice”. He admitted he may have said things in “banter” at school during the 1970s that could be viewed differently today however, he has denied saying anything racist or antisemitic “directly” to an individual.
Thai-based cryptocurrency investor Christopher Harborne donated £9m to Reform UK

But Labour and the Liberal Democrats have called for an Electoral Commission investigation into Reform UK’s cryptocurrency donations.
Concerns were raised following the mega donation from Mr Harborne.
Mr Farage had publicly promoted Tether, a cryptocurrency in which Mr Harborne holds shares, shortly after the donation, which led to accusations of a potential conflict of interest and abuse of position.
The Reform leader has also advocated for crypto deregulation.
Reform has said none of the donations from Mr Harborne were in cryptocurrency.
