West Ham and Tottenham face off on Saturday night in what will be a fiercely contested London derby.
The capital city rivals have enjoyed and endured opposing starts to the new Premier League season, but are just three points apart in the table. The Hammers lost to Sunderland and Chelsea before recovering with a statement victory over Nottingham Forest, while Spurs beat Burnley and Manchester City before going down at home to Bournemouth.
It sets up an intriguing derby in east London, with West Ham looking to continue their recovery after a disastrous start, while Thomas Frank will hope a resounding defeat to the Cherries was merely a blip.
West Ham are won just one of their last seven meetings with Spurs, who are winless in five league visits to the London Stadium.
Date, kick-off time and venue
West Ham vs Tottenham is scheduled for a 5.30pm BST kick-off on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The match will take place at London Stadium, in east London.

West Ham vs Tottenham team news
West Ham will be without Niclas Fullkrug after the striker was ruled out for up to a month with a calf injury, and he joins George Earthy (ankle) and Luis Guilherme (shoulder) on the sidelines. Callum Wilson will start in his place.
In more positive news, Crysencio Summerville was a surprise returnee against Nottingham Forest and provided an assist in an eight-minute cameo off the bench. Mateus Fernandes started that game and should make his home debut this weekend.
Tottenham will continue to monitor Dominic Solanke’s fitness ahead of the game, but Richarlison is expected to start. Xavi Simons will make his debut, though it remains to be seen if he starts the game after only a few training sessions with his new team-mates.
Yves Bissouma is nearing a return to match fitness but remains out of favour under Thomas Frank. Destiny Udogie is back but England’s newest star, Djed Spence, is likely to keep his place at left-back.
West Ham vs Tottenham prediction
West Ham took full control of the uncertainty at Nottingham Forest to pick up their first win before the international break, and Graham Potter will hope that momentum has not dissipated, though Spurs are made of much sterner stuff this season.
Spurs may have lost their last game, against an impressive Bournemouth side, but have shown twice already this season that they can punish teams who are not firing on all cylinders, and West Ham can certainly be filed under that category.
It will be a feisty atmosphere at the London Stadium, and one where you would expect the first goal to prove crucial.
