Every month more than a million Premium Bonds winners are chosen at random and two bond holders pocket £1million each.

Other prizes range from £25 to £100,000. In our tables we reveal all the prizes above £1,000 and you can sort the table to search for your bonds.

September 2025 update: Winners of the £1million Premium Bonds prizes this month are in County Durham and Cumbria. 

The Durham winner has a holding of £50,000 and purchased their winning Bond in June 2014. 

The Cumbria winner has a holding of £50,000 and purchased their winning Bond in April 2015.

We publish Premium Bonds results in our tables below, separated into larger and smaller prizes. It’s published on the 1st of every month or the next working day if it falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday. 

If you know your bond number you can see if you have won a prize using NS&I’s Premium Bonds Prize Checker. 

Our tables allow you to search by region or city, and you can reorder the columns to see the value of your holding or bond and the date you bought it. You can search the archive over the past year.

What are Premium Bonds? 

Premium Bonds are a Government savings product offered by NS&I that pay out prizes but no interest. 

Every pound that you pay in equals one Premium Bond and each bond has an equal chance of winning a prize: 22,000 to 1. 

The numbers, or more accurately strings of numbers and letters of varying lengths, are selected by a machine known as ERNIE – Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment.

You can buy Premium Bonds online at NS&I with a minimum of £25. You can hold a maximum £50,000 of Premium Bonds. 

It’s possible to cash in all or part of your Premium Bonds whenever you like online. 

You can also buy and cash in Premium Bonds over the phone by contacting NS&I for free in the UK on 08085 007 007.
