Millions of people are terrified after freakish-looking alien with dark tentacles and a foul smell invaded our planet. The weird creature is now living in the home of a Panamanian man

A boy may be harbouring an alien lifeform in his home after he “discovered a creature that feeds off light” in a meteorite. Clips of greenish-yellow slime oozing out of a silver rock have spread like wildfire across social media and sparked widespread speculation and debate.

The young man, who uploaded the footage to TikTok from his home in Panama, claimed he found a small, metallic-looking stone in a shallow crater. Days later, a slimy substance began to emerge from cracks in the small stone before it grew into a writing mass of dark tentacles which allegedly emitted a foul burnt odour.

The man, who identified online as Kinpanama, was storing the strange creature in a glass jar before moving it to a safe because it was “feeding off light” and growing out of control.

The beast’s creepy tentacles were overflowing out of the safe in one clip with a caption asking for help.

Kinpanama said: “In less than 72 hours, it’s grown quite a bit. If you ask me what it smells like, I’d say it’s burnt, and the smell is getting stronger.”

“If there’s one thing I’m worried about, it’s that one day it might come loose from the rock, but not now. For now, I’m keeping its growth at a standstill and not letting it get much sunlight,” he said in another post.

The Panamanian also told followers he had sent samples of the creature off to be tested in a lab in the hopes of uncovering its origins.

He said: “I don’t know if it’s animal or plant. Sometimes it tricks me”.

The weird footage has clocked up tens of millions of views from terrified social media users. However, boffins loitering in the comment section said the creature was a common stinkhorn fungus.

It comes as music icon Engelbert Humperdinck has revealed he believes in aliens. The 89-year-old singer, best known for his hit singles Release Me and The Last Waltz, said that he spends the nights staring into space.

He says that when he looks at the stars, he knows there is alien life out there. Engelbert said he reckoned the ‘proof’ of alien life was ‘staring us in the face’, saying that the Pyramids in Egypt were ‘obviously’ built by extra-terrestrial beings.

Speaking this week, he said he was always in bed by midnight, saying that he ‘looked out at the stars’, adding: “There’s somebody out there, I’m sure of it. Are you telling me we built the Pyramids? C’mon, somebody paid us a visit.”
