Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced they know who will be the first celebrity to be eliminated from the 2025 series after the launch show on Saturday night

Strictly Come Dancing viewers are certain they’ve worked out which celebrity will be first to leave the 2025 series.

The glamorous show launched in spectacular fashion on Saturday (September 27) with 15 couples taking to the floor for their debut live performances.

All celebrities and their professional partners received marks from the judging panel of Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke.

Nevertheless, every couple remained safe this week with their scores carrying forward to next weekend when one duo will say goodbye to the ballroom.

ITV Lorraine LA correspondent Ross King and his partner Jowita Przystal landed at the foot of the leaderboard after their underwhelming Cha Cha Cha to California Gurls by Katy Perry failed to win over the judges, reports Wales Online.

The pair managed just 10 points from a potential 40, but fans believe Thomas Skinner and Amy Dowden will be eliminated despite sitting two positions higher on the scoreboard with 16 points for their Paso Doble to Battle Without Honour or Humanity by Hotei.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Thomas for sure will be the first one out. Amy was literally dancing circles around him. #Strictly.”

A second commented: “I don’t think it matters how crap Ross is, I still doubt he’ll he first out #Strictly.”

A third viewer commented: “So it’s clear that Thomas will be first out #Strictly. A fourth social media user said: ” A fourth social media user lamented: “I’m so sorry Amy, but first out I beg #Strictly.”

The current series of Strictly has had a turbulent start with Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn pulling out of the competition just days after the line-up was confirmed.

Adding to the drama, Love Island winner Dani has also withdrawn from the 2025 series due to an injury. The mother-of-three explained to her fans: “I had a fall in rehearsals and landed funny.

“I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.

“Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (! ! ) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show. “To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.”

West End star Amber Davies has been brought in to replace Dani and will be dancing with Nikita Kuzmin for the remainder of the series.
