Congressman Tim Burchett says advanced extraterrestrial ‘entities’ may be living in deep-water zones because mankind knows more about Moon than the depths of Earth’s oceans
Aliens could be hiding out in ‘five or six’ underwater UFO bases off the Bahamas, a top politician has claimed.
Congressman Tim Burchett said he believes advanced extraterrestrial ‘entities’ are living in un-monitored deep-water zones on Earth.
A member of the House Oversight Committee overseeing reported UFO sightings, he said the ETs may have been hiding in the depths of the planet’s oceans for generations.
He said there have been frequent sightings of unidentified craft around five or six specific deep-sea areas off the US coast.
Burchett said it was possible for unknown entities to be living underwater given how little is known about the ocean compared to the Moon’s surface.
He said US Navy personnel have reported chased underwater craft that move at extraordinary speeds and far surpass the abilities of current military technology.
In a clip posted on X the politician said: “We have naval personnel telling me we have these sightings, these underwater craft they’re chasing that go hundreds of miles an hour, and the best we got is something that does maybe a little under forty miles an hour.
“So I got a lot of questions about that stuff.”
Burchett has previously said he believes the US Government is covering up the existence of aliens.
In 2023 he told Newsweek authorities had recovered a UFO craft – aka UAP or unidentified aerial phenomena – and possible ‘beings’.
Burchett said US officials had attempted to reverse-engineer the craft to better understand the advanced alien technology.
He has claimed the US Government has recovered UFOs over the years but has been reluctant to share any details with the public.
“We’ve got some of our top pilots spotting these things,” he has said. “I’ve talked to them.”
But Burchett has said he does not fear ET.
“I’m not worried about them harming me,” he has said.
“I mean, with those capabilities they would have barbecued us a long time ago.”
The clip he posted has been viewed nearly two million times.
Following the revelations Dr Michael Salla, an author and researcher focused on extraterrestrial phenomena, said the most likely sighting for underwater alien bases was a region of the Atlantic Ocean near the Bahamas.
He said he has spoken to credible whistleblowers, including senior military and executive branch officials, who have confirmed the existence of underwater bases and advanced craft.
Dr Salla said the US Navy operates a top secret underwater facility he likened to Area 51 called AUTEC – aka the Atlantic Undersea Testing and Evaluation Center – in a similar region of the Atlantic.
He told the Redacted podcast ‘just to the right of it is Tongue of the Ocean, which is a very deep part of the ocean there in the Bahamas’.
“It drops off immediately around 3,000ft feet,” he said. “So that’s ideal for a submarine. But it’s also a place where people have seen many UFOs, many underwater craft coming into and leaving the water. So there have been a lot of UFO sightings in that area.”
Last November Congress heard eyewitness accounts of mystery craft ‘emerging from or submerging into’ the water.
Investigator Michael Shellenberger said he had a source who claimed to have seen footage of an ‘orb coming out of the ocean and being met by another orb’.
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert asked if there were ‘any technological capabilities that have been observed in these oceanic UAPs to defy our current understanding of physics or human engineering capabilities?’’
Shellenberger replied: “It seems like they all do.”
He told the hearing the Pentagon ran a secret UFO retrieval and reverse engineering program called Immaculate Constellation.
Shellenberger said ‘current or former government officials’ had told him the program had ‘maybe thousands’ of pieces of evidence showing UAPs’.
“What the American people need to know is that the US, military and intelligence community are sitting on a huge amount of visual and other information – still photos, video, photos, other sensor information. And they have for a very long time. And it’s not those fuzzy photos and videos that we’ve been given. There’s very clear, high resolution,” he said.
Previously Bob McGwire, a professor with the Institute for Defense Analyses, told officials probing close encounters of his deep sea one-to-one with an alien craft while on board a US Navy fast attack submarine.
He was carrying out classified work on the USS Hampton when he heard the sound of ‘something whizzing by’.
The sub’s onboard sonar determined the object was travelling through the water faster than the speed of sound.
McGwire, who works for the scientific institute and Virginia Tech research university in the US, said no manmade craft could have travelled that fast
Sound travels four times faster in water than air – reaching 3,330mph – because liquid particles are closer together and quickly transmit vibration energy from one to another.
A torpedo can only hit 230mph and the fastest sea animal – the sailfish – can swim at 68mph.
McGwire, who has also served as a high-security-clearance intelligence officer, kept the details of his close encounter secret for 30 years due to the classified nature of his work on the sub which is assigned to Squadron 11 in San Diego, California.
He finally spoke out as the Pentagon began probing UFO close encounters involving military personnel.
McGwire told the UAP Society – which catalogues encounters – he urged the naval team on board the sub to report the incident at the time but they determined it would hinder their mission.
The engagement lasted just a few seconds, he said.
“We were underway and all of a sudden I heard a sound. It is really strange and clear that something is whizzing by us,” he said.
The USS Hampton is limited by how fast it can travel due to the incompressibility of water in front of it but the craft ‘blew by’ the sub, he said.
He said a ‘person with knowledge of onboard systems’ – likely monitoring the sonar tech – announced something just soared past the submarine faster than the speed of sound.
His account emerged after the release of a video showing US Naval personnel aboard the combat ship USS Omaha having a close encounter with an orb-shaped UFO off the coast of San Diego in 2019.
Two crew members could be heard exclaiming ‘wow, it splashed’ after the ball made a controlled flight over the ocean then splashed into the sea and disappeared underwater.
The Pentagon has categorically denied Shellenberger’s claims.
Brits said they were not surprised by the revelations.
One wrote online: “There is so much we don’t know about yet and if you dare to explain you are classed a nutter. Well these so called underwater craft are not going underwater at all. They are inter-dimensional craft that enter other dimensions via portals.
“Yes, believe me or not, this is what is actually happening. Our minds are not ready for such information yet but soon all will be revealed to us.”
Another said: “Perhaps there is intelligent life on Earth after all?”
One more wrote: “That doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. We have videos of drones centuries ahead of what we are capable of and don’t see anything entering our atmosphere externally.
“Conspiracy theory, yes, but doesn’t make it less likely. We know more about Mars than we do about the deep oceans.”
Another added: “If they’re not bothering us, we shouldn’t bother them.”
