Carla Bellucci, 44, is charging her family and friends £250 each to dine at hers on Christmas Day, with her working teenage children having to fork out for the festive fee too
A mum admitted that she’s charging her family – including the children – £250 to dine at her place on Christmas Day, telling them they can “go elsewhere if they don’t like it.”
Carla Bellucci, 44, is offering a lavish four-course meal for the staggering price this festive season. Although, it’s not generously coming out of the her own pocket.
The former glamour model, often known as ‘Britain’s Most Hated Mum’ for her controversial parenting, has hiked the price of her Christmas dinner by £50 from last year – costing an eye-watering £200 previously,
But, that’s not the only amendment that Carla has made to her festive grub. This year her teenage children will have to pay if they want to sit around the table.
According to Hertfordshire mum Carla, Tanisha, 20, and Jayden, 19, have been left “highly disappointed” by the decision. “They are not the best pleased with me right now,” the parent confessed to What’s The Jam.
“But they have no choice. If they want to have a family Christmas, then they need to pay me. I’m not letting them – or anyone – take advantage of me.
“I can’t be bothered dealing with freeloaders anymore, especially at Christmas when it’s such an expensive time.”
Carla is planning on hosting 10 guests at her place for the festive feast, which includes family and friends.
She will be serving prawn cocktail as a starter with pickled cucumber. For the main course, it’s short ribs, wild mushroom Yorkshire puddings, sizzled sprouts, and rosemary scalloped potatoes.
And for dessert, she’s keeping it simple with Christmas pudding. There will be canapés upon arrival and free-flowing champagne.
But when the clock strikes 8pm, everyone needs to be out the door – and that includes teen children Tanisha and Jayden.
Carla said: “They don’t live here anymore, so they count as guests this year. I can tell they’re not happy, but it is what it is.
“I’m not a charity case – I’ve got to make and save money too. If I’ve got to prep, cook and put all the food on the table, it’s essentially a bargain for them.”
Carla’s Christmas spirit comes with an extra price tag if her children choose to stay over. The mum said she’ll charge the teen kids £80 if they want to take an overnight kip on Christmas Day.
The mum concluded: “If I could charge more, like a grand, then I would. When I floated this idea to my family, they were quite enraged with me.
“They need to get a life – and should be grateful I’m taking the stress off them.”
