The Olympic swimmer is set to marry daughter of fiery chef Gordon Ramsay however his mother Caroline was allegedly not invited to the hen do sparking a fiery feud

Adam Peaty’s mother Caroline has broken her silence after reportedly being banned from her son’s Christmas wedding. The Olympic swimmer is set to marry daughter of fiery chef Gordon Ramsay, Holly Anna Ramsay.

But tensions rose over Holly’s recent hen do, which Peaty’s mum was allegedly not invited to, Victoria Beckham and Holly’s mum Tana were some notable guests. Caroline has finally spoken out admitting she “knows it’s the end”.

She said: “I know it’s the end. But please, the message I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point.

“There’s nothing you’ve done that I would not forgive. I love you so much. I hope your marriage is a good one, I don’t wish any ill on you and I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage.

“The reason I’m speaking out is I want all this to end.”

The athlete’s mother claimed that her son was “in Gordon’s clutches” and felt the family were “pulling him away”.

In an interview with Daily Mail Caroline said: “He’s in Gordon’s clutches. I can’t help but feel like they are pulling him away from me. Their family is very insular.” Caroline also said she was at home looking after Adam’s son at the time of the hen and stag dos.

She said: “I was crying all the way home. I got home and told Mark that for the first time in my life, I felt I didn’t want to live. That’s how low this has made me.

“I’m a strong woman and I can get through anything, but this has broken me.”

It comes as Peaty’s brother James has been arrested over claims he sent threatening messages to the sportsman during his stag do. Earlier this week, Adam, 30, was greeted by police upon landing at Manchester Airport after his stag party in Budapest.

However, while in Budapest with his soon-to-be father-in-law, Adam reportedly became concerned after receiving text messages, leading Holly to call the police. His elder brother, James, 34, was arrested at his home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, on Monday and has since been released on bail.

A representative for Staffordshire Police stated: “We arrested a 34-year-old man, from the Uttoxeter area, on November 11, 2025, on suspicion of harassment. The man was released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.”

Meanwhile, Adam’s dad has broken his silence for the first time, saying the family feud has spiralled out of control. Mark said: “They’re brothers, they’ve always been close, but like any normal family, brothers fight, argue, fall out, makeup and start all over again.
