A bizarre and violent scene broke out at a Miami supermarket, with harrowing footage showing a shirtless bloke pummelling two women who were wrestling on the floor

A topless man from Florida attacked several people with a metal shelf as he rampaged through a Miami supermarket.

The bizarre brawl kicked off after “two large parties of people” broke out in an “aggressive verbal argument” at Southwest 163rd Street and Southwest 95th Avenue at around 6 p.m., WPLG reported, citing police records.

Suddenly it turned physical, with two women commencing proceedings by clawing at each other and crashing into a display unit that propped up greeting cards. The half-naked man, identified as Climont Mann, is accused of picking up the large rectangular shelf and hitting the two women fighting on the ground.

Mann then turns his attention and walks towards another fight that broke out elsewhere in the supermarket. Eventually, he gives up and returns to the two females on the floor who he pummels again with the shelf, like something out of WWE’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

“Ooh, man, you going to jail,” one person behind the camera said.

“I thought it was horrible. It was a disgrace,” one shopper told NBC 6 South Florida. “Security did not step in when they should’ve. It was just an outrage and a disgrace.”

Two people were transported to the hospital and several others were treated by crews outside the shop.

Mann was charged with felony aggravated battery, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, according to court records viewed by The New York Post. He was ordered by a judge to stay away from the two women he hit with a shelf.

In other violent shopping news, horrified shoppers in Australia fled for their lives as a machete fight erupted inside a busy shopping centre.

The violence kicked off when two groups of men started brawling in the car park of Broadmeadows Central shopping centre in Melbourne, Australia, shortly after 7pm local time on Friday (October 10).

The scrap then moved inside the shopping centre, causing panicked shoppers to dive for cover.

Shocking footage captures two masked men dressed entirely in black wielding machetes at each other whilst terrified shoppers cowered in cupboards and screamed for help.

At one point, a brave bystander attempted to step in with a chair but couldn’t halt the reckless pair.

One witness described her harrowing ordeal on Instagram, posting: “The fear in the centre was real. When it was finally safe to leave, all I could see were terrified faces, people crying, shaken and in shock.”
