Celebrity Traitors viewers are convinced that a major betrayal is on the way after Cat Burns made a comment about her fellow Traitor.

A shocking betrayal could be on the horizon in Celebrity Traitors, as suspicions mount among the stars of the BBC programme.

The revelation that Charlotte Church had been taken out by the Traitors – Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr – left the Faithful contestants utterly stunned.

With the remaining celebrities still in the dark about who among them is a Traitor, the urgency to unmask one is escalating.

During a discussion about their theories, comedian Joe Wilkinson voiced his doubts about Cat to her directly, while Lucy Beaumont pointed out that Cat has never voted in line with the group’s consensus.

This comes after viewers discovered that Cat is renowned for her successful radio hit.

Cat shared her own thoughts, saying: “If I’m honest, in my head, for me, it’s between Stephen and Jonathan. Cos I think Joe M’s theory makes sense.”

“Stephen could be the leader of the Faithfuls, and then Jonathan could be the leader of the Traitors. That’s what I still can’t work out.”

In a direct-to-camera moment, Cat noted that the game is nearly at its midpoint, yet the team hasn’t managed to identify a traitor among them, reports Wales Online.

She continued: “I think the Faithfuls need a Traitor. I’ve gone, ‘Oh, it could be either Stephen or Jonathan.’ I think it’s time to start going with the group a little bit more to try and save my back.

“This game is making me evil, but I’ve got to think for myself here.”

It didn’t take long for viewers to flood social media with their reactions to Cat’s comments about Jonathan to the group, with many speculating that a significant betrayal could be imminent.

One viewer commented: “Cat planting seeds and going rogue.” Another chimed in with: “Cat FINALLLLLY throwing Jonathan under the bus.”

A third fan remarked: “Oh Cat’s being the exact kind of Traitor I want… MESSY!” Whilst another viewer observed: “oooooo Cat’s starting to backstab I’m honestly kinda here for it lol.”

One enthusiastic fan suggested: “Need Cat to throw both jonathan and alan under the bus, recruit both Joes and take all the money.”

Meanwhile, someone else noted: “Cat throwing Jonathan Ross under the bus.”

Will Cat ultimately betray Jonathan and reveal his true identity as a Traitor to the remaining contestants?

Celebrity Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
