The controversial adult star was banned from entering Australia so is Facetiming fans from Bali, while Schoolies are indulging in ‘chaotic’ celebrations as they try to get their hands on Bonnie merch
Bonnie Blue has gone viral Down Under despite being thousands of miles away in Bali, with a Schoolies push-up challenge. Controversial adult star Bonnie Blue is sunning herself on the Indonesian island after being banned from entering Australia. But her Bang Bus is on the Gold Coast, and fresh footage from the coming-of-age Schoolies celebrations shows she’s still very much the name on everyone’s lips.
A short, chaotic video shows a group of student revellers celebrating the end of their school days by battling it out in an impromptu push-up challenge in the corridor of a bustling hotel. The prize? A coveted Bonnie Blue T-shirt, distributed by members of her Australian-based crew, ensuring the content creator’s presence is felt even while she remains overseas.
Despite earlier reports suggesting authorities had refused her entry to Australia’s Schoolies zones this year, Bonnie appears to have found a way to stay front and centre in the festivities with her guerrilla publicity campaign.
In the viral clip, two lads drop to the carpet and begin furiously pumping out push-ups, cheered on by an excitable crowd. Spectators shout, film, and egg them on as the competitors strain for victory, all for the chance to walk away wearing Bonnie’s branding across their chest.
The moment the winner is announced, the scene erupts. And it’s not just lads who are delighted to get rewarded, with a young woman receiving her own T-shirt. She’s seen squealing, jumping, and flapping her hands in pure disbelief, as if she’s just been handed front-row tickets to a world tour rather than a piece of merch.
Yesterday, it was reported Bonnie’s Bang Bus that has been swarmed by hyped-up Schoolies, banging on the doors and bonnet and screaming, “Bonnie, are you in there?”
According to Bonnie’s spokesperson, the situation “got a little hairy” when one group of young men began pulling at the door handles, climbing onto the van and trying to force entry. “They sat in the van — I had to drag them out,” a team member reported.
They added: “Then they were like, ‘Let’s jump him, let’s break the van,’ and one of them started punching the wing mirror.” As the situation escalated, the crew reportedly feared for their safety.
The most alarming moment reportedly came when a lone fan ran after the van for nearly three kilometres. “He was like Usain Bolt,” the team member recalled.
“He was banging on the van yelling, ‘Bonnie, sign my c**k!’”. Extra security has now been drafted in to keep both the crew and the promo girls handing out Bonnie merch safe, the spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, Bonnie has been working on her own brand from Bali. Wearing next to nothing by the pool, the 26-year-old – real name Tia Billinger – has been FaceTiming ecstatic fans spotted in her merchandise, with her team asking: “Do you want to speak to Bonnie Blue?” before flipping the camera to reveal the saucy star live on screen.
