Celebrity Traitors host Claudia Winkleman may have accidentally hinted that Cat Burns is a Traitor in the BBC show.

Celebrity Traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman could have inadvertently suggested that Cat Burns is amongst the show’s villains.

The singer has managed to keep a low profile on the BBC programme, much like her fellow Traitor Alan Carr. However, the scheming Traitors’ cunning strategy might be beginning to crumble following the departure of Jonathan Ross, who was the third member of their treacherous alliance.

Jonathan faced banishment during Wednesday’s episode (October 29), and during the same programme, suspicions began mounting around Alan. Plus, Claudia made a telling remark about Cat when she mentioned a “new side” of her personality.

The remaining participants were engaged in a task requiring them to cross a precarious wooden bridge.

Cat bravely stepped forward to attempt the challenge but struggled with her anxiety as she endeavoured to cross, yelping and screaming whilst slowly making her way along, reports Wales Online.

Claudia, observing from below alongside the other contestants, then remarked: “This is a new side to Cat, I’m gonna be honest.”

Fellow Traitor Jonathan quickly intervened, appearing to deflect from Claudia’s observation by noting it “must be terrifying” for Cat.

Nevertheless, Cat’s vulnerability won over audiences, with numerous viewers taking to social media to commend her courage in completing the bridge crossing despite her terror.

“Cat on the bridge is giving me life,” one viewer posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Cat is so relatable on that bridge,” another person concurred.

“I felt so proud of Cat after watching her conquer her fears like that going over the bridge while being utterly terrified the entire way,” remarked another viewer.

One admirer gushed: “CAT BURNS… I love her so much, a legend is born on the Celebrity Traitors.”

As the episode progressed, Jonathan found himself voted out of the castle. The celebrity maintained his innocent act right until the very end, challenging fellow contestants about their poor performance in identifying the Traitors.

However, in a dramatic final revelation, he confessed to them: “I am now, and I have all through the game, been completely faithful… to the Traitors!”

Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One.
