Several Coronation Street stars have rushed to support Sally Dynevor after she shared an emotional update online.

The actress shot to fame when she joined the ITV soap as Sally in 1986. Since then, she has become a soap legend, and has played a part in several big storylines.

From a devastating cancer battle to her many failed romances on the street, her time in Weatherfield has not been short of drama. Away from the soap though, Sally is married to husband Tim Dynevor and they share three children: Phoebe, Sam and Hattie.

This week though, Sally had her fans and soap colleagues rallying around with support after she completed a major charity mission with her son.

Sally issued an emotional update

The TV star managed to trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, on behalf of Prevent Breast Cancer, the charity she is a patron of after having faced her own breast cancer journey.
