Donald Trump paid Kate Middleton a glowing compliment just moments after touching down at Windsor with his wife Melania Trump this afternoon. The US President, 79, stepped off Marine One for his landmark state visit where he was met by the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman examined the footage capturing the American leader and the First Lady’s encounter with the royals. According to his analysis, Trump instantly expressed his admiration for the royals, particularly Kate.

The POTUS, Jeremy revealed, said to Kate during their initial exchange of the day: “You’re so beautiful, so.”

William and Kate deployed their full Royal charisma outside Victoria house where Trump received a military ceremonial display. You can stay updated with all the latest developments from the state visit through the Mirror’s live blog, reports the Mirror.

Following his introductions with William and Kate, Trump, who is known to be a devoted Royal enthusiast, was then received by King Charles and Queen Camilla whilst a Royal salute thundered from First World War-era cannons on Windsor Castle’s east lawn and at the Tower of London.

After inspecting a guard of honour, Charles and Trump were observed sharing a laugh together with the latter repeatedly saying “thanks very much”.

The monarch subsequently travelled in a carriage alongside Trump during a procession through the Windsor Estate. The Queen, meanwhile, rode in a separate carriage with Melania.

Trump arrived at the Windsor estate at 12.14pm, which was 20 minutes behind schedule. Despite the largely respectful reception for his second full state visit, not all in the UK were pleased to see Trump.

Artist Maya Kar took to the streets of Windsor earlier to display a painting portraying Trump as a wild “stone age savage” who has abducted a child-like King Charles from Windsor Castle.

He told the Mirror: “I depict him as a stone age hunter. He don’t know the rules. He don’t know nothing. He don’t know protocol.”

Speaking about Trump, he added: “He don’t know anything. He will just come and act like a[n] idiot. And make a mess. Make us [Brits] embarrassed and go.”

Four individuals were also taken into custody after images of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto Windsor Castle.

Trump is anticipated to partake in a state banquet this evening, mirroring 2019 when the leader dined with the late Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace during his first state visit to the UK.
