EastEnders viewers were left scratching their heads on Tuesday as they spotted a glaring error as Harry Mitchell was finally rescued
EastEnders fans were left scratching their heads during Tuesday’s episode (November 4), as characters scrambled to save Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway).
The character has been held captive for weeks by Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu), who has been keeping him chained up at Kojo’s flat. The alarm was raised when Kojo discovered the shocking truth about his friend’s situation.
Upon returning to his flat, Kojo (Dayo Koleosho) managed to evict Okie and free Harry, only for Harry to collapse. In a desperate bid for help, Kojo found his brother George Knight (Colin Salmon) and Harry’s father Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian).
They were taken aback when they learned of the dire circumstances, with Kojo pleading for their assistance to save Harry. However, upon rushing back to the flat, they found Harry missing, sparking panic.

Okie had returned and once again abducted Harry, but didn’t get far. Teddy and Kojo spotted Harry being bundled into a van by Okie and two accomplices, who were planning to make a swift getaway, reports the Mirror.
Spotting Kojo and Teddy, the trio seemed ready to confront them, but the sound of approaching police sirens caused them to abandon Harry’s unconscious body and flee in the van.
Teddy and Kojo rushed to aid Harry, with Kojo refusing to abandon his friend despite the potential risk due to his involvement in the drug-related drama.
When it was revealed that George was the one who alerted the police, Kojo appeared devastated, bringing the episode to a cliffhanger conclusion.
But whilst Harry’s destiny remained uncertain, it was an aspect of the rescue operation that left viewers puzzled. Kojo had rushed to Teddy’s residence where George was also present.
This property sits on the Square, positioned very near to Kojo’s flat which is equally close to the Square.
So the notion that during the time it took them all to dash to the location, Okie had already returned, collected the van and his associates to arrive and begun hauling Harry from the flat, simply didn’t add up for viewers.
Fans were certain there’d been some kind of mistake, whilst the chronology remained unclear and it was undoubtedly orchestrated to generate tension.
Taking to social media, one fan questioned: “Why did it take George, Kojo and Teddy 40 days and 40 nights to get to the flat?” Another viewer remarked: “How long does it take to get to Kojo’s flat from Teddy’s place?”
A third supporter observed: “It’s like a 2-minute distance between Teddy’s house and the flat there’s literally no way they got in the van, drove the van to the flat, got Harry off the floor and into the van then drove off before Kojo, George and Teddy got there.”
The comments continued to pour in, with one stating: “I’m sorry, why did it take Teddy and George so long to run across to Harry and Kojo’s flat? They surely should have arrived while Okie was standing over Harry in the living room?”
Another chimed in: “The fact that it took nearly 10 years from the moment Teddy Kojo and George ran out the flat to the moment Okie attempted to move Harry. What took them so long to get to the other side of the Square.”
