Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley teases a huge “never been done before” storyline which will shock ITV viewers.
ITV fans are in for a jaw-dropping treat as soap legend Lisa Riley has hinted at a “never been done before” storyline that promises to shake the village to its core.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star at the National Television Awards, Lisa, who plays much-loved character Mandy Dingle on the ITV soap, gave fans a tantalising glimpse of what’s to come.
The actress turned heads on the red carpet at London’s O2, dazzling fans and posing alongside her Emmerdale co-stars as the cast celebrated another big year for the soap.
Lisa revealed: “The Bear stuff is sort of going to start soon and there will be clues of where he might be. My father-in-law is somewhere, I can’t tell you where exactly but I can promise you there is a lot of drama where he is. That’s a big storyline coming up, which has become like our producers’ baby, so it’s going to be a big deal.”
She added: “I can’t give you any clue but I told my other half and he said that’s never been done before. And yeah, it’s never been done in a drama, ever.”
Lisa’s tease suggests the story will involve shocking revelations, intense confrontations, and perhaps a few surprises that could leave viewers talking for months.
