Jack Kay, better known as Ibiza Final Boss, has laid bare his spending habits in a new Channel 4 documentary

A 26-year-old construction worker from Newcastle had a lads’ holiday unlike any other this summer, swiftly becoming a viral sensation after a clip of him dancing in Ibiza was shared online.

The footage of Jack Kay swept the internet, with his distinctive bowl cut hairstyle, tattoos and chunky chain considered the very definition of a party-going Brit abroad, earning him the moniker of ‘Ibiza Final Boss’.

Now the social media star’s incredible rise is explored in a new Channel 4 documentary. Released yesterday (September 24) directly to the broadcaster’s on-demand service, The Ibiza Final Boss: UNTOLD follows Jack as he comes to terms with his newfound fame.

Its synopsis teases: “Documentary following viral sensation Jack Kay – aka the Ibiza Final Boss – investigating how much money you can make when a spontaneous moment caught on social media makes you infamous.”

Throughout the episode Jack discusses his spending habits, career plans and ambitions to make sure his young daughter is “set for life.”

“I’m trying to keep myself on a level head with it because I’ve got a little daughter back home,” he confesses. “I had nothing growing up so to give her the life when she’s older, she can have anything she wants, is just unbelievable.”

He also sheds some light on exactly how much money he has earned from his viral fame to date. In one scene, his friend asks him directly: “What’s the dough like?”, prompting the star to hint at the huge amount of cash he has made in the six weeks since his viral moment.

He tell his friend to “pick a number”, before revealing it’s a “little tidge more” than £800,000.

Elsewhere in the film, Jack is seen driving his new Range Rover which he admitted he bought when he returned from his now famous Ibiza getaway.

“I bought this car when I got back from Ibiza, it’s a Range Rover SVR. I bought it with my first pay check, about £55,000 or something,” he said.

“It was one of the best things just to come and buy this.”

He also admits the huge sum he spends on maintaining his iconic trim, splurging £80 on three trips to the barber shop every single week.

While Jack’s exact salary is never revealed in the documentary, he is raking in the cash from club tours, media appearances brand partnerships and gifted experiences, with one free trip on an Ibiza yacht alone worth well over £10,000.

He is also working on launching his own vodka brand and has already released a clothing range with fashion brand boohooMAN.

The Ibiza Final Boss: UNTOLD is now streaming on Channel 4’s on demand service and YouTube
