Olive oil in a squeezy bottle is another American affectation we have enthusiastically adopted. Patient zero of the trend is Graza, an olive oil startup that has trendy packaging with serif font. Now there’s scores of copycats, much to the chagrin of Graza co-founder Andrew Benin (legend has it he came up with the original concept in the shower). To be fair, it’s actually a really good idea, given how expensive olive oil is these days. The nozzle allows for a precision drizzle, rather than risking sloshing your liquid gold all over a salad.
