Gogglebox star Georgia Bell has announced she is engaged.
The mum-of-two, who appears on the E4 hit with her best mate Abbie Lynn, is now set to tie the knot with her boyfriend Josh Newby. The hairdresser took to Instagram to show fans the moment Josh got down on one knee during a romantic boat in Dubai.
An adorable video saw Georgia get emotional as Josh popped the question in front of the Dubai skyscrapers. She said yes and the duo shared a hug and a kiss – the TV star said she’ll remember the moment for the rest of her life.
She captioned the post: “4.10.25 YES YES YES!! Officially in our fiancé era. A memory to remember for a lifetime.”
Georgia also revealed her impressive diamond ring. She flashed the gem while kneeling down on the side of the boat.
Her Gogglebox co-stars rushed to congratulate the couple. Ellie Warner wrote: “Congratulations wonderful news”, and her sister Izzi Warner commented: “Aww lovely news congratulations.”
Jenny and Lee said: “Congratulations to you both wow great news much love to ya xx”. The Malone family wrote: “Such lovely news , congratulations to you all.”
Georgia and Josh have been a couple since 2018. They’re proud parents to their son Hugo, who was born in 2018.
They celebrated their first year together in 2019, with Georgia writing: “Celebrating their first year together in 2019, Georgia wrote on Instagram: “Celebrated with the most amazing boy our 1st year together and so many more to come. I love you.”
Georgia recently spoke to the Daily Star Sunday about the chaotic nature of filming for Gogglebox while handling her kids. She said: “It’s good fun having the kids with me. But sometimes it is chaos. I have to tell my boyfriend to take them out.”
Her Abbie Lynn added: “It’s hard for a three-year-old to sit and focus on The Traitors. They’d rather have Bluey on. Mind you, they do love Britain’s Got Talent!”
However, Georgia is grateful for having the kids around when she films the show. She added: “In years to come, I’ll be like, ‘Sit down boys, this is you two when you were so young’. Ralphie was only a few weeks old when he was first on the show and Hugh was a few months old. I just think it will be an amazing thing to be able to look back on when they’re older.”
