Former glamour model turned TV personality Nicola McLean has revealed she hasn’t been asked to take part in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! spin-off in South Africa
A former I’m ACelebrity contestant has expressed her disappointment at not being invited to participate in the upcoming All Stars series set in South Africa.
The special edition of the popular ITV reality show will reunite some of the most unforgettable campmates from past seasons next year, as they face new trials and challenges in the wilderness.
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly are set to return as hosts for the 2026 series, which promises a fresh batch of returning campmates, stunning South African locations, and some of the most thrilling trials in I’m A Celebrity history.
However, Nicola McLean, a former glamour model and reality TV regular who finished in sixth place back in 2008, has revealed she hasn’t been asked to return – and she’s not pleased about it.
Speaking on behalf of WhichBingo, the mum-of-two expressed her frustration: “I’m furious I’m not in it. I’ve not been asked but I’d like to and I’m available.”, reports the Mirror.
The inaugural all-star series was won by Myleene Klass, and the roster of previous contestants returning for the second instalment has reportedly been unveiled.
Rumoured to be bracing themselves for another round of infamous trials and challenges are David Haye, Gemma Collins, Seann Walsh, Harry Redknapp, Scarlett Moffatt, Adam Thomas, Sir Mo Farah, Ashley Roberts, Sinitta, Craig Charles, Jimmy Bullard, and Beverley Callard.
Commenting on the speculated line-up, Nicola said: “I love I’m A Celebrity and Jimmy Bullard is my husband’s best friend so I’ve known him for years and he’s so funny.
“I think now because he’s more well known I think he’ll do much better. Everyone loves the GC [Gemma Collins] so let’s hope she stays longer this time and Scarlett Moffatt is lovely.”
ITV has unveiled a thrilling new twist for the second series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, giving viewers the ultimate power to crown their chosen legend in 2026.
Following weeks of drama, confrontations and endurance tests, audiences will have the final say through a live vote during the grand finale, broadcast directly from London.
The inaugural series of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa featured stars including Amir Khan, Gillian McKeith, Joe Swash and Carol Vorderman competing for survival.
The famous faces confronted their deepest fears across numerous trials and challenges, with Myleene eventually taking the crown as the inaugural I’m A Celebrity Legend – but who will claim that coveted title next?
