I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmate Angry Ginge could have had a game plan to get to the final with Aitch

I’m A Celebrity contestant Angry Ginge might have plotted his route to the final alongside pal Aitch, given their pre-existing friendship could see them ‘naturally lift each other up’.

This speculation comes as Ginge, 24, and Aitch, 25, have emerged as joint bookmakers’ favourites to claim the crown.

Ginge’s close friend Freddy Doneorrell has shed light on the campmates’ bond and suspects they may have discussed tactics before entering the jungle, noting that it’s rare to see ‘two good friends go in’ together.

Freddy, who works as a social media executive, revealed: “I don’t actually know anything on that side, but they definitely would have spoken. They’ll naturally lift each other up in there.

“When you’ve got two real mates with that kind of chemistry and mutual respect, it just gives them both a boost all the way through, so I think that’ll massively help.”

Speaking to The Sun, he added: “You don’t really see two very good friends go in. If anything was discussed beforehand, it would’ve been about looking out for each other and keeping spirits high. That’s just who they are.

“I think they both want the best for each other and 100 per cent they will want to help each other through to the final.”

Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, has become a jungle sensation, winning over viewers nationwide with his distinctive wit and charm.

The 24-year-old Salford native, known for streaming games on Twitch and creating YouTube content for Gen-Z viewers, is now winning over a broader audience on the ITV show, reports the Mirror.

Ginge’s rising popularity is evident as his team told The Mirror they’ve been “inundated” with lucrative offers since he joined the jungle – including a book deal, TV gigs, and advertising campaigns.

A source close to Angry Ginge revealed: “Since the moment Ginge stepped foot in the jungle, the commercial interest has gone through the roof.

“He’s been absolutely inundated with offers, far more than anyone predicted. Brands have very quickly clocked that he’s not just a viral creator; he’s genuinely relatable, he speaks the language of real people, and he connects with an audience that many big companies have struggled to reach.”

His “authenticity”, stemming from his upbringing in a council flat with his mum and sister, is particularly appealing. The source added: “It’s why he’s already being approached for several major long-term global ambassadorships with household-name retailers who want him fronting their campaigns the second he’s out.

“They see him as someone who can shift perception, shift product, and bring in audiences that traditional advertising doesn’t touch.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
