A flight attendant has revealed she treats every flight like her own personal ‘Tinder’ as she believes that she will eventually find true love while up in the air
A cheeky cabin crew member revealed that she transforms every flight into her personal ‘Tinder’ – secretly giving the thumbs up to attractive passengers.
Noelle, 25, is determined to discover romance amongst the clouds and has devised her own matchmaking theory dubbed “Tinder in the Air”.
The globe-trotting model confesses she routinely chats up travellers during flights and has successfully “matched” with several gentlemen above the clouds.
The social media sensation even employs covert hand signals with her cabin crew colleagues when an appealing passenger grabs their attention.
However, Noelle’s high-altitude romance strategy isn’t merely for entertainment – she’s earnestly searching for her life partner.
“Sometimes, I do have an instant crush and I can’t explain it, but if you compare it to Tinder, it feels like I desperately want to send them a super-like,” revealed Noelle, who boasts 509,000 Instagram followers @flyingnoelle and works as an adult model.
“Sometimes I make jokes with my colleagues while we are passing out coffee and drinks. Then we do little hand gestures.
“A thumbs up means swipe right and thumbs down means swipe left.
“The traits that make me want to swipe right are a smile, how nice and friendly they are with the crew, confidence, someone who can make me laugh and someone who holds eye contact with me.
“A wink, a good cologne, confident posture, and salt and pepper hair is a super-like for me.”
Noelle has even prepared an aviation-themed dating profile at the ready. She revealed: “My in-flight Tinder bio would say ‘I spend my life in the clouds, but I am looking for someone who keeps me grounded and feels like home’.”
Noelle admits she attempts to maintain professional but confesses she cannot help indulging in a spot of romance when cupid strikes at 30,000 feet.
The French-American stunner explained: “After years of experience, balancing keeping it flirty and fun while staying professional has become a sixth sense.
“I try to stay as professional as I can on board with passengers, but leaving little notes on napkins while handing out their drink has always been my little secret. I have matched with quite a few passengers and we go on a date, but what happens next stays a secret.”
Noelle admitted she’ll occasionally arrange to meet gentlemen after touchdown if there’s a “connection”.
Yet beneath the playful exterior, Noelle takes her sky-high romantic pursuits seriously. She revealed: “I know from the outside it can seem as though I like to play a game, but I genuinely am looking for a life partner and this is a real dating method for me.
“I have met a lot of great men in the air and have had some amazing dates. None have been 100% successful, sadly, but I can never give up on love.
“I’m a lover and I’m looking for a husband to settle down with.”
However, for Noelle, managing romance alongside her flying schedule proves challenging.
She explained: “The airline always gives us new schedules every month, so it changes often, but I do around 15 to 25 hours per week in the air and sometimes I also get called in on my free days.
“Since I am constantly on the go, it is hard for me to enter a relationship where he is tied to one place all the time. If I could have it my way, I would have a person that can work also from anywhere in the world”
Noelle, who grew up splitting her time between France and San Diego, launched her so-called ‘Tinder in the Air’ after ending her engagement three years ago.
She revealed: “My friend suggested that I should go on dating apps, since I was very lonely and found it hard to meet someone naturally.
“But due to my job, I was too busy to always meet someone in the same place, so I decided to make my own Tinder and now I joke with colleagues and call it my ‘Tinder in the Air.'”.
Now, Noelle’s followers are clamouring to be “swiped right on”. She shared: “People on my socials message me saying they want me to swipe right for them and they wish they were on my flight.”
And she even has her ideal romantic comedy moment mapped out. She fantasised: “My dream scenario would be to meet a passenger who has salt and pepper hair.
“He accidentally touches my hand and the eye contact blows me away. He leaves me a little napkin note, saying ‘meet me after the flight’ and he waits for me after landing.
“Then, we take a taxi to a sushi restaurant and get to know each other.”
It is to note that Noelle has no actual association with Tinder.
