Jude Bellingham has risked the wrath of La Liga as he was snapped performing a lewd gesture that has already landed him in hot water with UEFA

Jude Bellingham has risked a La Liga ban after he performed a lewd gesture at El Clasico over the weekend.

The Madrid ace, 22, was slapped with a £25k fine and a one-match suspended sentence for gesturing to his crotch during England’s Euro 2024 clash with Slovakia. Bellingham, at the time, shrugged it off as an inside joke.

He said: “An inside joke gesture towards some close friends who were at the game. Nothing but respect for how that Slovakia team played tonight.” However, he has now repeated the gesture.

Bellingham was one of the players of the match, as Real Madrid ran out 2-1 winner against their bitter rivals on Sunday afternoon.

However, after the full-time whistle, Bellingham was seen repeating the gesture with tongue out as tensions boiled over.

A melee started between the two teams with the atmosphere already at fever pitch as players had to be separated in clashes during the final minutes of the match.

The incident was sparked when Barcelona midfielder Pedri received a second yellow card for a foul on Aurelien Tchouameni in the 10th minute of added time.

After the referee’s full-time whistle, a huge melee involving nearly all of the players from both clubs started in the centre circle.

Both benches also erupted on the sidelines with Real boss Xabi Alonso entering the pitch to drag his players away.

Thibaut Courtois was left particularly incensed with Lamine Yamal as he berated the teenager. Yamal was quickly guided down the tunnel where his team-mate Raphinha was being dragged away from a separate confrontation.

Yamal also exchanged words with Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal, with the latter making a gesture to the winger, implying that he should shut his mouth.
