Katie Price and Kerry Katona have kicked off their joint tour and the former glamour model opened up about her marriage to Peter Andre, saying she’s ‘suffered’ since their split
Katie Price has spoken candidly about the collapse of her marriage to Peter Andre – though she maintains there are “happy memories” from their time together.
The former glamour model and television personality was accompanied by her longtime pal Kerry Katona for the launch night of their joint tour at Marine Hall in Fleetwood this evening, where the duo, who have been friends for over twenty years, discussed their personal lives with remarkable openness.
Price, 47, and Katona, 45, are set to visit venues including New Brighton, Ellesmere Port, Stockport and London as part of their tour.
During the opening performance, conversation quickly shifted to their former spouses.

This follows Katie coming under intense scrutiny from her first husband, Peter, who released a scathing statement vowing that matters needed to cease, reports the Mirror.
Taking to Instagram, Andre declared he would be putting the record straight after “repeated lies” from Price and her family, during which period he had remained silent.
He stated: “The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.
“In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.
“In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”
During her stage appearance, Kerry quipped that she regretted playing cupid for Katie and Peter during their stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Katie revealed that when they emerged from the jungle, Peter already had representation due to his music career.
“Well, he had a manager,” she explained, before adding cautiously: “When I came out, because I wanted to be with Pete and Pete wanted to be with me, I needed to be careful how I word things now..”
Kerry then chimed in: “I’ll say it.”
Katie went on: “She ended up managing me and Pete and… There were three of us in the marriage.”
The reality star elaborated: “There are memories. They were very good memories. I’ve suffered 16 years cause of it, from when I split up I’ve had 16 years of hell. But I’m glad now that the truth is coming out on social media and people are seeing.”
A member of the audience revealed: “Kerry jumped in joking saying ‘I’ll say it’ when Katie seemed hesitant to talk candidly due to legal concerns. There was a huge wave of support for her when she did open up. Say what you like about Katie but she has a fierce support base.”
This week, Katie found herself basking in the glory of second place on the Official Download Charts with her 2017 hit, ‘I Got U’. Insiders suggest this is a sweet taste of “revenge” following a tumultuous period, leaving Katie feeling “on top of the world.”
A source revealed: “Katie is delighted – and it feels like real revenge to everyone after all of the drama that’s been going on recently.
“She won’t go quietly where the haters are concerned – she’s been so hurt and feels like she’s always painted as the bad guy, so this has truly picked her up when she needed it most.”

“It’s not been easy for Katie having to defend herself over and over again when it comes to her exes. She feels like she’s a good mum and has actually held a lot of what has gone on back,” they say.
