Katie Price has shared a worrying update about the side effects of her cosmetic treatments, as she showed her followers a series of “humps” on her forehead on her social media
Katie Price has posted yet another concerning update regarding the aftermath of her cosmetic procedures, displaying a series of alarming “bumps” across her forehead to her social media followers.
The former glamour model uploaded the selfie to her Instagram Stories, revealing several pronounced lumps positioned above her eyebrows, with the most prominent one situated in the middle of her forehead. Adding to mounting worries about her wellbeing, she also shared footage on Snapchat showing herself prior to receiving Botox injections, with numerous black marker dots mapped across her face to direct the practitioner.
Katie explained to her audience: “I’ve gone from this,” before transitioning to her subsequent Snapchat clip. She went on: “At the moment, it looks like I’ve got humps on my face, my ‘lovely lady lumps'”, reports the Mirror.
The 47 year old selected Black Eyed Peas’ hit My Humps as the soundtrack to her video, referencing the song’s lyrics whilst addressing her viewers. She had previously brought fans along to witness her Botox session, making light of the fact she wasn’t undergoing another of her recent surgical facelifts.
Filming herself from the treatment chair, she documented the process of having her injection sites marked out. Pulling faces at the camera, she quipped: “So here I am, no not a facelift, Botox.
“Look, that’s me frowning,” she demonstrated whilst showcasing the extent of movement in her forehead before the injections.
“I know, I need to sort my eyebrows out.”
Katie’s practitioner instructed her to lift her eyebrows, but Katie appeared frustrated as the markings were applied to her forehead. She questioned the aesthetician: “F****** hell, how many needles are you putting in there my girl?”.
The mother-of-five, who has openly discussed her body dysmorphia struggles, remarked: “Oh, I look so ugly. But I will look good in a few days.”
Temporary swelling is a typical consequence of Botox treatments, though it generally subsides naturally within days and can be managed with ice application. To reduce this effect, patients are recommended to avoid lying flat, massaging, or touching the injection site for at least four hours following the procedure.
This development follows Katie revealing another dramatic makeover in her continuously evolving appearance, leaving supporters stunned by her transformed look. However, the change wasn’t lasting, despite the former page three model sporting a hairpiece that resembled her original locks more closely.
The bespoke wig was crafted by celebrity hairstylist Dominic Ackah-Amihere, who revealed the star’s fresh appearance on Friday. Sharing on Instagram, he detailed: “We had 3 minutes to throw this on and conceal 26 inches of hair.”
And as admirers rushed to share their thoughts, one astonished follower remarked: “OMG, I genuinely thought this was a picture of Jesy Nelson.
“Wow Katie actually looks incredible. She’s always had curly hair and it’s nice to see that she’s embracing that again,” another gushed.
A third chimed in: “I did not think that was Katie at first glance.”
