Love Island star Yasmin Pettet is said to be in talks to return to the ITV2 dating show for the third series of All Stars, after she split from Jamie Rhodes

Yasmin Pettet, the 24 year old TV sensation who rose to fame on this year’s Love Island, is reportedly in discussions for Love Island: All Stars.

Yasmin and her then-partner Jamie Rhodes secured third place on the show, but their romance fizzled out shortly after the series ended.

Despite putting on a united front at the National Television Awards last week, it’s rumoured that by the end of the night, Jamie had told friends she had “f***ed off”.

Reports also suggest Yasmin was spotted hand-in-hand with The Traitors star Freddie Fraser at the same event, however, she has since taken to social media to hit back at the claims over their relationship.

Just days after their split was announced, sources now suggest that Yasmin could be heading back to the villa for another round of reality TV drama. She’s said to be under consideration for the upcoming All Stars edition, set to hit our screens early next year.

An insider revealed: “ITV bosses are already starting to approach ex Islanders and they knew from the moment Yas stepped into the villa, she’d make the perfect ‘All Star’.

“She’s one of the most controversial bombshells in the show’s history and will have absolutely no issue shaking up the villa for the second time, or treading on people’s toes.

“Now things are over with Jamie, she’s in very early tentative talks. She’s not sure if going back to the show would be the right move but she’s had loads of offers,” according to The Sun, reports the Mirror.

Earlier this year, ITV confirmed the return of Love Island: All Stars. The third instalment is making its way back to South Africa, set to premiere in the new year and extend for six weeks, surpassing the usual five.

Also said to be in discussions for the upcoming show are Ciaran Davies and Jess Harding as well as Alima Gagigo and this year’s bombshell Andrada Pop.

Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment, commented on the renewal: “Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand- alone hit, keeping fans of the show gripped by iconic Islanders from the past 10 years returning for another chance to find love.

“We are very excited about series 3, and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars, after an incredible smash hit summer series.”

The second series of Love Island: All Stars, which aired earlier this year, was won by Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman. The series also saw the reunion of Ronnie Vint and Harriet Blackmore – but not without its share of complaints.

In February, the show sparked over 2,000 complaints to Ofcom in its final week, with fans seething at various stars for their “bullying behaviour”. On 12 February, there were 1,347 complaints, followed by 820 on 11 February, 63 on 13 February and 57 on 16 February.
