Married At First Sight UK couple Rebecca and Bailey have been hit with fresh drama after the bride admitted she had a ‘secret crush’ on fellow MAFS UK star Joe

Married At First Sight UK couple Rebecca and Bailey are grappling with fresh drama after branding their romance “ruined.”

Their turbulent beginning has taken a turn for the worse following a recent bonding exercise that backfired spectacularly during a game of Secrets and Lies.

Rebecca confessed to having a “secret crush” on fellow MAFS UK participant Joe, leaving Bailey visibly shaken and sparking their first major argument, reports the Mirror.

Following Rebecca’s bombshell revelation, Bailey challenged her on their sofa, demanding: “If I was asked who I fancy and I picked any of the other girls, how would your reaction be? Would you sit there and like you, would you let me touch you?”

A clearly distressed Rebecca responded: “I wouldn’t be as like dismissive and angry as you were.”

Bailey fired back: “You said to me, you would never be with a man that ever answered that question. So you wouldn’t be with me. So you’d leave me.

“So your reaction would have been much worse… you’ve said it, you said it. If you ever pick anyone else, we’d be done. I was just baffled that you said it, that was it, and I was hurt,” he continued furiously.

Through tears, Rebecca told her spouse: “I felt so sad and upset today because I’ve hurt you, because you mean so much to me.

“I am sorry for doing it, because we’ve always had this protective bubble around us of, like, having each other’s backs. I feel like I have, like, popped it, like, ruined what we’ve got,” she concluded.

After her explanation, Bailey appeared ready to put the matter behind them as he reassured Rebecca: “I don’t think it’s popped. I do trust you. I haven’t changed how I feel, how I act. I don’t want to make it a big deal.”

He suggested they could “move past it,” to which Rebecca responded, “yeah.”

The pair’s union got off to a rocky start, with Rebecca instantly confessing Bailey wasn’t what she was looking for. “I said I would know in 10 seconds, and alarm bells are going off in my head. He’s not my type. Oh God.”

Yet Bailey later declared his love during their second commitment ceremony, suggesting the duo might just be perfectly suited after all.

Rebecca hasn’t reciprocated those three little words to Bailey yet, revealing at the latest dinner party that she’s a ‘slow burner’ when it comes to opening up about her emotions.

Married At First Sight UK continues tonight at 9pm on E4.
