Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin’s girlfriend Lauren Jaine has begged fans to ‘be respectful’
Strictly Come Dancing pro Nikita Kuzmin’s girlfriend, Lauren Jaine, has issued a polite plea to fans, asking them to be considerate of their relationship as they cheer on Nikita and his dance partner, Amber Davies.
Taking to TikTok, Lauren, who has been dating Nikita since early 2023, requested that viewers “be respectful” of their romance, as some fans have been eagerly anticipating the infamous Strictly curse to strike the pair.
The 27 year old dancer’s partnership with West End actress Amber, 29, has sparked hopes among some fans that their on-screen chemistry might blossom into a real-life romance. However, Lauren has gently reminded fans to be mindful of those on the show who are already in relationships.
In a lighthearted video, Lauren pretended to scroll through her screen, writing: “Me watching all the cute tiktoks of all the strictly couple.”
She then feigned confusion, adding: “*comments saying ‘i hope they get the strictly curse’*” Lauren captioned the clip: “Please be respectful to the real-life partners and let them have a good experience of the show too.”
Nikita and Lauren went public with their relationship in October 2023, with a source revealing to The Sun at the time: “Nikita and Lauren have been dating for months and seem to have an amazing connection…
“The pair have tried to keep their romance under the radar but they have been attending events together and are really enjoying each other’s company.
“They have been spending a lot of time together and even went on holiday together in the summer. Things are progressing and Nikita is very happy with his new romance.”
In a sweet gesture, Nikita made sure Amber had a birthday to remember as she turned 29. The Strictly pro waltzed into the rehearsal studio bearing a large bouquet and a Happy Birthday balloon, reports the Mirror.
The heartwarming moment was caught on camera and shared on Instagram by Amber, who wrote: “Little me would never believe I would be celebrating my last birthday in my twenties on the Strictly ballroom dance floor.”
She continued: “Golden star for the most fab pro partner ever @nikita__kuzmin ! ! ! He remembered guys best birthday EVER ! ! ! ! @bbcstrictly (he did infact say happy 40th birthday whilst handing me this gift..) Thank you so much for all the birthday love, time to celebrate with a SAMBAAAAA.”
