Kelly Brook is going to light up our screens on I’m a Celeb this year and we need her to win – so back our campaign and make the Daily Star legend queen

Your Kelly needs you! We’re backing Daily Star icon Kelly Brook to win this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Today we’re launching a campaign to make her Queen of the Jungle and we’re asking our loyal readers to help.

We’ve been fans for decades after helping launch her multi-millionaire modelling career. Our legendary snapper Jeany Savage spotted Kelly’s model potential after seeing a picture of the fresh-faced teenager posing in a field in 1997. You can see it below.

She immediately called her in for a studio shoot and persuaded the curvy babe to strip off. Kelly’s naked picture was used to advertise a flooring company, with the slogan: “It’s the only way to get laid.”

She went on to make a fortune as a successful model, movie actress and telly star. Now we want to help our girl again by asking you to download the I’m A Celeb app and vote to keep her in.

The new series kicked off with Kelly, 45, already in the thick of the action. After skydiving alongside Shona McGarty and Martin Kemp, the trio faced the dreaded Cockie van with none other than Kiosk Kev at the wheel.

As it approached, a horrified Kelly squealed: “I don’t wanna get in a cock van!” Presenters Ant and Dec were quick to reassure her: “It’s a Cockie van, Cockie van.”

Later Kelly and other camp-mates were told they couldn’t exit the vehicle until they completed a challenge. In typical fashion that involved critters and creepy crawlies being dumped on their heads. At one point Kelly screamed: “Oh my god, they’re biting my tits!”

Daily Star says…

The Daily Star has launched a campaign to keep Kelly Brook in the jungle. Cracking Kelly has come a long way since she was discovered by this paper in 1997.

Her career has gone from lads’ mag fave to one of the most recognisable – and loved – women on TV.

And it’s not hard to see why she’s so popular. Not many celebs can be as down to earth as Kelly – who was screaming “Oh my god, they’re biting my tits” after being covered in critters in the first episode of the show last night.

Kelly’s long been a champ in our eyes but we’d love to see her crowned Queen of the Jungle.

She’s one Kell of a girl.
