Sales have rocketed at a luxury fashion label whose clothes are often worn by the Princess of Wales.
British brand Me+Em revealed a 25 per cent surge in turnover to £147.9m last year, fuelled by booming demand overseas.
In particular, US sales leapt 61 per cent to £47.3m after it opened four shops, including in New York and Texas.
It is planning more openings across the Pond, including hubs in Los Angeles and Georgia this month.

And Me+Em – founded by businesswoman Clare Hornby – has invested in the UK. In London it is opening a larger flagship store in Marylebone and expanding its first boutique in Chelsea. It is also launching a shop in Manchester.
Profits rose 29 per cent to £20.2m, and the firm added that trading so far this year has been ‘strong’. Jackets – including a £550 forest green suede variant worn by the Princess of Wales – and £600 knee-high boots are performing well.
