Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong-un were all overheard plotting how to live on, and the trio discussed the use of organ transplants to extend life, according to a translator
Vladimir Putin has been caught discussing achieving eternal life during talks with fellow autocrat Kim Jong-un and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
The Russian president and other global figures have assembled in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of World War II’s conclusion. Based on translator reports, despot Kim Jong-un, Putin and Xi Jinping were overheard scheming about prolonging their existence, with the threesome exploring organ transplantation as a means to extend their lifespans.
Putin and Xi Jinping were spotted in conversation about the possibilities of attaining everlasting life, with Kim Jong-un joining the discussion. Both the North Korean supremo and his Russian equivalent have faced health challenges in recent times.
Their dialogue emerges against a backdrop of persistent accusations that China unlawfully harvests organs from imprisoned ethnic minorities.
“Earlier, people rarely lived to 70, but these days at 70 you are still a child,” Mr Xi told Putin, according to the translator. Putin responded: “With the development of biotechnology, human organs can be continuously transplanted and people can live younger and younger, and even achieve immortality.”
Xi then told him: “Predictions are, this century, there is also a chance of living to 150.”
Human rights specialists revealed four years ago that they possessed “credible information that minority groups were forced to undergo medical tests and organ harvesting without their consent”. They said: “We are deeply concerned by reports of discriminatory treatment of the prisoners or detainees based on their ethnicity and religion or belief.
“According to the allegations received, the most common organs removed from the prisoners are reportedly hearts, kidneys, livers, corneas and, less commonly, parts of livers.
“This form of trafficking with a medical nature allegedly involves health sector professionals, including surgeons, anaesthetists and other medical specialists.”
Putin’s wellbeing has been thrust into the spotlight after he was spotted hobbling as he prepared to meet Donald Trump last month. He was compelled to pause midway down his aircraft’s steps before welcoming the US President.
Speculation about the 72-year-old’s condition has been rife in recent years, with former spy chiefs and insiders from Russia amongst those who have suggested he might be gravely unwell. Certain analysts have argued his choice to launch the Ukraine invasion in 2022 was partly driven by an increasing awareness of his own finite lifespan.
