Martin Kemp, 64, is among the several stars from the world of TV, sport, and music who are entering the Australian jungle this month, and his son Roman had the best reaction to the news
Radio DJ Roman Kemp has reacted to his dad going into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
The new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is just days away, and ITV has now confirmed the full line up of celebrities set to face some Bushtucker Trials.
The 64-year-old is entering the jungle later this week, alongside 11 other famous faces including; Shona McGarty, Kelly Brook, Eddie Kadi, Alex Scott, Ruby Wax, Jack Osbourne, Lisa Riley, Aitch, Vogue Williams, Angry Ginge, and Tom Read Wilson.
Roman took to X last night, sharing the official line-up tweet from ITV Roman wrote: “Martin Kemp? Absolute nepo-daddy. Only in there cos his sons on The One Show”.
One X user responded: “He’ll be in good company with nepo-baby Jack Osbourne in the camp…” While another said: “The number of people in the comments, missing the sarcasm is staggering/expected and wild all at the same time.”
Just three weeks ago Martin was rushed to hospital after gruesome chainsaw accident. was left with his fingers covered in bandages after things took a turn for the worse while wielding the dangerous tool. Martin shocked his family when he posted a pic into the family group chat showing three of his fingers “heavily strapped up”.
However, he didn’t give much context about what had happened at first, simply texting them: “Yep… chainsaw.” Son Roman Kemp admitted it’s lucky his famous dad wasn’t left “fingerless” after the accident.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will return on November 16 with its 25th series. Beloved hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will return to the helm for another three weeks of camp chaos.
A number of stars have already touched down in Australia ahead of their stint on the show, such as Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, YouTube sensation Angry Ginge and Page 3 icon Kelly Brook. The celebs were snapped at Brisbane Airport.
