The £30-per-couple bash sees partner-swappers get a discount, with organisers promising a ‘relaxed, sex-positive environment for members to enjoy’ in a club for ‘liberated adults’
Swingers are set for a £30-per-couple X-rated Xmas party featuring a festive pub quiz and kinky karaoke.
Partner-swappers full of Christmas cheer are meeting up for a saucy soiree which costs £20 for singles – while duos turning up together get a cheeky discount at £30 for the evening’s antics.
The Purple Mamba Club is aiming for a ‘relaxed, sex-positive’ night with only private members allowed in. The event is set for December 19, as reported by What’s The Jam. Guests will arrive at 8pm for the quiz, with the swingers’ spot looking for a new ‘brain box’ to be crowned, before naughty karaoke until 2am the following day.
The night is just one of six Christmas events taking place at the club. Members can choose from a number of evenings across December, including an 80s party, an alternative yule fayre and a ‘kink Christmas’.
A spokesperson for the Purple Mamba Club said: “Who will be crowned the brain box of the club?
“We’re not sure what Kinky Karaoke entails, but we’re sure you can show us.
“Members only. Join us for a Friday night social and play in your very own private members bar.
“We aim to create a relaxed, sex-positive environment for members to enjoy.”
The Purple Mamba Club, in West Bridgford, Nottingham, is known for its quirky events aimed at the swinging community, billing itself as “the Midland’s most intimate, exclusive club for liberated adults”.
Earlier this year, randy swingers enjoyed a unique meet-and-greet, complete with their beloved dogs in tow. The frisky event allowed partner swappers to bring along their tail-wagging pals to aid in socialising.
Swingers have also taken part in a Robin Hood-themed treasure hunt in the legendary outlaw’s home city. The event was dubbed “The Great Throbbing Hood Hunt” and was followed by a steamy celebration near Sherwood Forest.
Participants were encouraged to don Robin Hood-inspired attire for the hunt, while post-hunt, the swingers reconvened for a risque social before heading out for a club night.
A married couple recently claimed swinging has boosted their sex lives so much they set up their own saucy club. Tanya Marum and Ashley Marum, both 32, married in 2019 and started swinging just a few months later so Tanya could explore her bisexual side. While they initially started ‘playing’ with women at swingers clubs they quickly started interacting with couples.
Ashley says swinging has increased their trust in each other and that they have just one rule – to never engage with another couple on their own to avoid becoming a ‘play thing’.
Tanya, from Leeds, Yorkshire, said: “I think it’s strengthened our relationship emotionally and sexually. We can talk to each other so freely and we’re so open about our own bodies as well. It’s just improved everything.”
