Tinned tuna company Princes Group has confirmed plans to list on the London stock market this month in a move that could value it at £1.5billion.
The almost 150-year-old firm, which is owned by Italian food brand Newlat, said it will make its stock market debut by the end of October.

The group – which is headquartered in Liverpool’s Liver Building – is best known for its Princes Tuna and Napolina products but also licensed brands such as Branston and Flora.
It marks the latest in a recent spate of UK listings in a much-needed boost for the London stock market, which has seen major firms bought out or defect overseas in recent years.
